Example settings below use the game defaults. Your league may use different values.
Give your team an identity
Create a free account using email or Google, then follow the team setup. Once your team is ready, join or create a league to start drafting.
Start with a team name and logo. You will select players after joining a draft league.
On Create Team, enter a name of at least three characters. Add an optional abbreviation of up to five characters.
Customize your logo, then choose Create Team and wait for confirmation.
Joining or creating a draft league creates a separate team for that league. Its player pool, budget, lineup and points belong to that league team.
Find your competition
Open Leagues to browse public competitions or join friends using a private code.
Create your team first, then select a public league and choose Join.
For a private league, enter the invitation code in Join by code. Your friend can copy it from the league’s Settings.
Draft participation depends on the weekly division setup. If you joined after it ran, follow the Draft status and wait for the next weekly setup rather than expecting an instant roster.
Put your favourites first
Your saved wishlist tells the automatic draft which players you prefer, in order.
Open Draft, select your league, and use Wishlist to find players by name, position or PWHL team.
Add up to 20 (default) choices. Reorder them so your favourites come first, and include forwards, defenders and goalies at different prices.
Choose Save Wishlist after editing. Revisit it for each new week and save before that week’s draft begins.
A wishlist does not reserve players. Other teams in your division may want the same players. Prices and your remaining budget affect which choices the draft can use.
Your league sets your starting budget; the default is 1,000 in virtual game money. Balance stars with affordable players so you can cover every starting position and keep useful bench options.
Let your wishlist do the drafting
The weekly draft runs automatically. You do not need to be online for each pick.
Each division uses a randomized snake order: the picking order reverses each round. Review the draft board, replay and history afterward.
The draft attempts to fill a pool of 15 (default) players. It checks your ranked available choices against remaining budget, then uses fallback players when needed. Your wishlist is not a guarantee of your final roster.
Check and save the wishlist for the new week after weekly setup and before its draft. UTC Monday can be Sunday locally. Scheduled jobs can take time; after completion, select your daily lineup from the new pool.
Choose who plays for you today
Open My Team and select today’s lineup from your owned player pool.
Fill all six starting slots: LW, C and RW with forwards; LD and RD with defenders; G with a goalie.
Fill up to three bench slots with backup players. Other owned players remain in your pool outside the daily lineup.
Select a rink slot, then a compatible player. Complete lineups save automatically after an edit: wait for the saved confirmation before leaving.
Automatic substitutions use the highest positive-scoring unused bench player of the same position when a starter has no game recorded in the round. Each substitute is used once. A starter who played and scored zero is not replaced just for scoring zero.
Check the clock before you change
Daily selection is about who plays today and when your changes must be finished.
Lineup changes require an open market and an editable round. A daily round locks at its first scheduled game; the saved lineup is captured for scoring.
Use the market and round status shown in the app. Finish changes before the deadline and revisit the next day’s schedule.
Market windows and round locks are separate checks. An open market alone does not mean a locked daily lineup can change. Transfers also need the market to be open.
Improve your pool between drafts
Use Draft’s Free Agents and Division Market to manage your league team’s players and budget.
Free Agents lists available players in your division. Check the displayed claim price and budget; the league discount is 20%.
If your pool is full, select an eligible player to drop when claiming a replacement. Check remaining weekly drops and keep enough players to field a valid lineup.
In Division Market, list an owned player or make a cash, player-swap or mixed offer. Follow incoming offers, counteroffers and completed moves.
Make it a simple routine
Follow your leagues, enjoy the games, and give your squad another chance each week.
Weekly points reset while cumulative points are retained. League duration advances in weekly rounds; the final standings determine the league result when its configured duration ends.
